This photography tuition tour is great for exploring Bristol's historic harbour-side once a busy dock where sailors and merchants would trade goods and set sail for voyages of discovery. Throughout the tour you'll be learning how to take control of your DSLR and taking your time to releasing your inner creative photographer.
Starting on the harbour at the M Shed with the iconic cranes, steam railway and 180 degree view we move onto Redcliffe Back taking in the candy coloured merchant houses on our way to Queens Square .Each location offers the chance to capture modern and historic whilst learning specific photographic skills from your own professional tutor.
Walking through the Georgian streets to Welsh-back and the lively historic city centre of Kings Street with great street photography opportunities, we circle round to the converted industrial watershed side ending up in the contemporary Millennium Square. As we go we will be teaching the core principles of photography, and you can consult us at anytime for additional specific advice whilst enjoying the freedom to explore fascinating changing cityscapes.
Finishing at local bar on the historic harbour-side to share our images of the tour over a drink or lunch if preferred.
Our approach is very practical and hands on designed to give you the confidence to use your DSLR controls and settings.
This tour provides training on capturing light using all the key elements of exposure; Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO, and White Balance. Along with top tips on how to use different composition ideas to give your photo's a real wow factor.
